It is normal for natural stone sinks to have variation in depth of colour/tone ,fissures ,veins, birthmarks and natural imperfections which add to the character of such products - Fissures ( natural fault lines in the stone)  are especially prominent in these sinks , particularly on the pedestal where they are left as nature intended - any fissures within the top , polished part of the basin , will be filled with a resin compound to ensure it is waterproof . Fissures are often mistaken as cracks ,or weakness in the stone, this is not the case , they are simply natural imperfections , and very much expected .

Being carved from natural stone we would recommend that our sinks are sealed before exposure to every day use and that no corrosive materials are used to clean these products .

As these sinks are carved from natural stone there can be variation in depth of shade/colour/veining , each sink is totally unique in that respect , and will not necessarily match the image shown in that regard .
