As with all natural stone Silver Grey & Silver Pink Granite paving can suffer from variation in depth of colour/tone so grading before installing is very much recommended .
Some natural stone paving units may contain a small iron content and when in contact with moisture can oxidise causing rust like marks to the surface of the paving ,this is a natural undertaking and ,if deemed unsightly, there are proprietary brand cleaners on the market especially formulated for rust removal.
Granite slabs will sometimes suffer slight bowing due to the engineering process, this is not unusual and will be be apparent within a percentage of orders.
During the "flaming" process to the surface of the slabs - whereby high heat causes the individual grains in the stone to burst , and change colour , and chips to become uneven , this can sometimes affect the corners/edges of the stone as a consequence , and small chips may be visible on occasions - this is nothing to be concerned about however and is not unexpected with materials that undergo this process .
We would recommend sealing these slabs and treating with a primer .
